In a corner held hostage
consumed by disease
taunted by disaster
striking at lightning speed
taking over our bodies
controlling our wants and needs
driving away loved ones
what a tangled web we weave
there has to be a solution
somewhere out there lies the cure
a cure so powerful and strong
that can purify what is impure
inject our skins with this vaccine
drown us in miracles and wishes
whatever the cost, whatever it takes
together we'll find a way to fix this
