Concrete Rendezvous

Written By Glenn McCrary & Jacqueline Webb

Uncoordinated,
Whetted by lust,
We let attraction guide our bodies----
The elegance of yoga or ballet lost in the moment.
Jauntily I danced,
Cradling my muse across my knees;
The rest of me ready for intimacy to be engaged.
Along the damp concrete,
Conceived by way of a symphony
Like that of the autumn rain
We collided.
Sated by our chaotic tumble,
I wiped the sweat off my brow
Cleansed swiftly of all belligerent woes----
The euphoria of love busted open my heart
And made me happy for Thursday to dawn.

Stephanie

Softly, I noticed my Juliet’s skin flush;
Our sudden amour made her red----
And ripe as a peach,
Ready to fall off the branch.
Struck by curiosity I caressed her cheeks
The contact triggering chills down the spine.
Leaning into her,
I tip my tongue for a taste
To experience the flavor
that lies within those lips.
Oh, how hot the sensation!
It was a reverie many a man would die for
(and had died for)
That sizzled between us.
Like falling in love with a stranger

Punch Drunk

Written By Glenn McCrary & Jacqueline Webb

Dusk settled,
Yawning,
On a Wednesday evening---
Myself just awakening.
Silently,
My bones,
Groused,
Screamed in protest.
My body declaring,
“You were not made for such hibernation!”
My mind shrugging off such accusations,
As I made my way,
Like the restless dead
Into a bar.
Entering the smoky dive,
I spy a lady----
An agate portrait of a temptress,
Graces my eyes
(The silver screen which I view my world)
Makes me instantly smitten.
Indeed! Such a lovely spectacle this vision!
A yearning to fill the meaningless void stirs;
Punch drunk by a state of awe,
I shuffle my feet in her direction.
We talk.
Discussed ourselves.
The pettiness of others;
The greatness of each other---
Was all that was on our minds.
Destiny!----
To have met on a Wednesday,
When the rest of civilization sleeps
And forgets of the nights delicacies. . . .

Epicurean Masquerade

For years he masqueraded the streets

Eclipsed by an array of dancing shadows

He weeped a harrowing sea of tears

Never once had he sought company

Bared by the hands of mere strangers

Nor had he ever offered himself

To be conquered by such fools

In restaurants across distances

He'd gaze as loads of people

Drunk of the finest wines

And ate of epicurean dishes

Briefly they traded glances

The profound malice searing

Ever so fervently in their eyes

Leaving a bad taste upon his breath

Soon after the heightening hatred

Had so suddenly evaporated

Back to square one he was

Anxiously he reached for his cigarettes

A taste of smoke he passionately craved

Tragically he had traded his lungs

In exchange for temporary relief

Cancer was his psychologist

Aurora's Wake

Among the heart of the city

She strives in search

Of serene promises

Curiously she saunters

Across the vacant streets of earth

The dawn of midnight's aurora

Echoed a symphony of fireworks

And in the wake of the sky's

Sweet, autumn breath

She happened upon peace

From atop the dunes of tribulation

She witnessed a dose

Of everlasting splendour

Elapsing Waltz

Amidst the wavering night tide

A stone, cold silence caressed the air

No echo beyond an audible level,

Peace cradled the night

Underneath the crowing esophagus

Her acoustic guitar she strummed

As upon the pacifying vapor of a cigarette

Her lips fervently clasped

‘Twas a minor hint of nicotine

Born just of this woman's breath

As gently a waft of smoke

Waltzed across the horizon

Serenading the stars in slumber

And all night she'd sing songs

Speaking tales of great misfortune

Around a sacred fire of devotion

To spread love & peace

All across the valley

Encore

A miraculous sensation it was

Wafting over me subconsciously

Upon each breath

Speech ceased to exist

Soft as an infant's cry,

Alluring as a blackened rose

A medley of passions danced

And within my chest

Further they blossomed

An irresistible lullaby

'Twas quite an electrifying stimulant

An addictive craving of which

One would have discovered

Long before its inception

An emotion of this caliber

Not even once had I felt

As fear had often been

the major adulterer

While I weeped upon

the grave of silence

Though now those days

Appear nonexistent

No longer do I scour

In words left unspoken

Care to cater to desire

You shall walk one fine wire

And along the trail

You shall sway

Dare I beseech a moan?

To reap what lies unknown

So that love may be heard

By the bay

Paramour

Jaded I've grown of the world before me

As life has taught me not to care

Devastated I plug in my headphones

To mute the abyss of society

The music electrifying my veins

I imagine us dancing beneath the stars

Bodies fully woven together in happiness

Within a realm where nothing matters but us

With the night just in the hours of its youth

Every second, every minute, every hour is ours

So let's get lost in time together my darling lady

Until our hearts fade into warmth of sunlight's embrace

You & me

Forever in this place of peace

The passion we share for each other

Is clearer than we could've predicted

Naughty Jaguar

Every week we bypass each other

As if neither of our existences

Matter much to one another

From across the room

We gaze at each other

Time further elapsing

How my mouth just waters

By the way you sway your hips

As you perform your sexy walk

Damn... Would I ever love

To softly smack that backside

The way you flaunt drives me wild

And then you turn to flash

That lovely trademark smile

Seducing me over the edge

Purring like a naughty kitten I say:

'I want you...'

'I need you...'

'Come play with me I don't bite.'

Upon my lap she jumped

In her sexiest tone she whispered

'Let our bodies take the shape of lust.'

Ballerina

Betwixt an atmosphere of a holy nature

By a classic serenade of Christian lullabies

Unceremoniously my body sways to the beat

For every moment that elapses

More and more I become electrified

As in the wake of your presence

A song of budding amour is evoked

Try I may to suppress this sensation,

Though upon a lie I'd asphyxiate

Please do not allow me to suffer

To languish within a plethora of

A sheer and utter coating of blindness

Darling forgive me if I impose

I avidly seek for signs of proof

To know if this is real

What would happen?
