Fire and water like you and I
were never meant to co-exist
but we found ways to compromise
surviving the chaos that it came with
it was not an easy feat and often
it felt like we were at war
fighting a dangerous battle
yet not knowing what for
the moment our romance began to burn
the flames were instantly extinguished
It has taken everything within our hearts
Not to let this strong desire relinquish
all we can do is hope and pray
that all the pieces fall back into place
and with the right amount of time
it would all be worth the chase

Like razor blades fingers slice

Can we withdraw the poisonous remarks?
Can we stop dishing dirt in the safety of the dark?

White Room

Confined within a straight-jacket faced with controversy
Struggling to break free of my destructive insanity
The mastermind behind these manipulative tactics
Is on a passionate quest to intoxicate my humanity
Drunk with frustration I wrestle my way to the exit
Desperate to escape this castle of impending doom
And glide along the edges of the moon's gentle crescent
Because the demonic messiah lives
within the shadows of this white room

Castle Of Fate

From afar I can smell your scent
Tickling my nostrils with curiosity
As your beauty trails through the meadows
Of adventure and excitement
Leaving footprints as maps
Leading to the castle that encompasses your beauty
So on a ship I sail on a quest to embrace this alluring scent
Dreaming of encompassing it with my senses
Enveloping it with this galaxy that is my heart

I arrive at this castle still dazed by

It appears in the form of
A deliciously, beautiful human creature
Hair as black as a Raven's feathers
Eyes as blue as the Atlantic Ocean
Skin as white as vanilla cheesecake
As I begin to move closer to her
My taste buds start to dance in a wild uproar
Begging me to quench my desire
She smells just like strawberries and roses
Dipped in white chocolate
To quench my thirsty taste buds
She decides to lean in
The gentle, soft touch of her lips
Gliding across the surface of mine
The exquisite and irresistible passion
Swimming in between the cracks of my lips
Exploding like firecrackers
Setting me off
Then she breaks the kiss
Pushing me into a Jacuzzi
Filled with soap and bubbles
Jumping in herself
We start play fighting
Splashing each other
The sound of laughter echoing
As back and forth we are tossing
Handfuls of soap suds at each other
Then we come full circle
Back just within inches of each other
She raises both her hands
And I raise mine in response
And we put our hands together
Fingers locking directly into place
As we gaze intensely into each other's eyes
Tears of happiness welling in hers
Tears of love welling in mine
As both the desires
of our hearts intertwine
Realizing that right here
In this moment
In each other's arms
Together we will be fine

Elijah

Elijah was a raven that had been held
In the prison of captivity his whole life
Dying for a chance to spread his wings
And tour the world in aimless flight

For he had been trapped in a nightmare
Ambushed by flashbacks of a violent history
He had survived even the darkest stages of life
Although the secret was his own personal mystery

At the time there was nothing
That his hopeless heart could do
A life of solitary confinement
Was the only life that he knew?

Until one day the owner
Removed him from his cage
Placing him upon a perch
While cleaning it with rage

Completely unaware that
He had left the window ajar
Allowing the crispy, winter breeze
To intrude from miles afar

Seeing this opportunity as
His only chance to escape
Elijah rose from his perch
Freedom lying in his wake

Elijah flew as far as
His little, black wings could go
The beauty of freedom
He was quite desperate to know

For he had only known of a life
So torturous and so cold
Abandonment delivered in abundance
A tale too brutal to be told

Endless nights of peril
Unwanted memories of abuse
Triggering numerous reminders
Of pain aggressively acute

With everything fading into
A tragic scenery of black and white
Darkness continues to manifest
The tunnel is closing no more light

As Elijah was flying the wind
Grew viciously unbearable
Crawling underneath his skin
Deep within he felt terrible

A blizzard was approaching
Falling heavily from the sky
With a vengeance so fierce
It could make roses cry

As the blizzard grew stronger
Elijah's little black wings grew weaker
He couldn't fly another mile
The chill beneath his wings grew deeper

As a result he was knocked unconscious
And straight to the ground he fell
Shattering his wings completely
Leaving him helplessly frail

There in the blistering chill
Of the snow he lied
Not moving an inch
For he was now paralyzed

Tear Stained Pages

Before me lies a fancy, black notebook
My exclusive, canvas for showcasing my pain
The pen begins to dance seductively across the page
Accompanied by the dampness of fresh tear stains

Moistening the words,
softly washing away the ink
Vandalizing my history, haunting me
To the point where I can't think

My poetry is my birthmark
And the words are my tattoos
Leaving the meaning in the hands
Of the audience to pursue

Never will I ever let
an obstacle get in the way
Of my undeniable passion
the perpetrator I'd have to slay

You'd have to pry it from my cold, dead fingers
Strip my flesh completely bare
At the end of the day I'll still have
my achievements to declare

I refuse to let narcissistic, egotistical maniacs
Manipulate my identity and diminish my pride
Nor will I allow them to blackmail me
Forcing me to agree to see things eye to eye

I am a poet and my words are important to me
You have to learn to accept that this is who I am
And I will remain this way for the rest of my life
Bite me for all I care I don't give a damn

From every direction this curse floats
The pleasure dripping from its apathetic fangs
Its nauseating stench conquering the air
Blackening my universe as in the balance it hangs

The taste of individuality is all that I seek
As this monstrosity continuously devours my bones
Threatening the element that is my humanity
Clouding my judgment as I am left to suffer alone

In the eyes of this psychotic beast
I am viewed as the epitome of flourishing hunger
The target of desirable destruction
Awaiting to dissect every ounce of flesh asunder

A blossoming shower of rose petals is what we once were
One by one each petal would fall into the flames of extortion
With the intense heat cooperating burning our romance to a crisp
Bittersweet revenge bleeding from the tender ashes
Tempers rising to new heights in the wake of the smoke

It is such a disgrace to allow our romance to deteriorate
Into a journey without a destination
Waging a war without reason
Oh why must you cast a shadow over ecstasy?
In exchange for a fancy execution
Displaying dirty deeds of greed

Desperate to satisfy your need for attention
Kicking and spitting on my precious legacy
Creating a halo of shame around my skull
While you carry on spewing your vicious lies
Disguised as threats forcing me to grasp
Reluctantly following your malicious concept

Dwells her devious spirits of extreme anguish

Tonight she should sleep with one eye open

Soon her atrocious crimes shall be vanquished

The devious smile that occupies the corners of her lips

Delivers a series of chills crawling up my tender spine

For the sake of superior treatment she selfishly whines

Frequently injected into her sensitive veins

Murdering her irresistibly sweet personality

Tearing ferociously through her helpless soul
